Include an aerobic activity on alternate days for thirty minutes, (walking, biking, jogging, jumping rope).

As you realize results consider increasing the training time to longer sessions.

Like with any piece of equipment, there will be a risk of injury if used improperly. With the Poor Man's Gym, there is less of a chance of injury because no weights are involved.
